What information do we collect?
Sylvadale collects the names, addresses and contact information in the form of telephone numbers and email addresses from you as a customer as well as disability or chronic sickness information from customers that are claiming VAT disabled relief.
When visitors leave comments on our website www.sylvadale.co.uk we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to our website or social media, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included, So visitors to our website can not download and extract any location data from your images.
People who contact us via social media
Our social media interactions are all managed in house. If you send a private or direct message via social media the message will be stored until it’s no longer required and will not be shared with any other organisations. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
